Great original condition, excellent bore, fine example of this classic straight pull rifle. WW1 era Austrian Steyr Mannlicher Model 1895/M95 8mm calibre straight pull bolt action carbine, renowned for reliability and sturdiness combined with a high rate of fire. These weapons were used throughout WW1 and into inter-war period. The wood furniture and metalwork of this rifle are in good condition for its age, with all sling and bayonet fixings intact, steel butt plate, block and blade foresight and ladder rear sight.
