Rosson & Son 16 gauge Boxlock Ejector (Fixed Choke)

Description

Very good condition 16 Bore Rosson & Son boxlock ejector side by side shotgun.
Oil finished straight hand stock that has been extended with a 1 1/4" wooden stock extension to a length of 14 3/4", the stock is accompanied by a matching game style forend with a silver finished push rod release catch and scroll engraved forend tip.
Fine cut scroll engraved action retaining some original hardening colour, the action is set alongside a pair of 28" fixed choke barrels of which both bores measure well in terms of proof and wall thickness with no signs of pitting or damage.
Deep cut leaf engraved action fences, blued scroll engraved top lever, trigger guard and cover plate.
Automatic safety catch, and supplied in it's original canvas motor case.

Barrel bore sizes .666" both, and wall thickness 35 & 24 thou minimum.
