Anschutz .17 HMR 1717 (Classic Heavy barrel (varmint))

Description

The top of the Anschutz .17 HMR hunting rifle line is the Model 1717 D. This deluxe sporter comes with a 22" target grade barrel that is grooved as well as drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Iron sights are included on the Monte Carlo model, but not the Classic. The 1717 D rifles are based on the Anschutz match cylinder bolt action (4-shot magazine) and stocked in checkered walnut. The dual locking lug bolt cocks on opening, has a recessed face, gas escape groove, and dual claw extractors. There is an independent bolt release. This model is the heavy barrel (varmint) version which has a Classic style pistol grip stock. The fine 2.5 pound target trigger is fully adjustable.
My rifle has been very lightly used & I have owned it from new, purchased in 2003 & has fired less than 2000 rounds. It is offered as a complete package with a plastic Gun Guard travel case, BR reflex T4 moderator, Schmit & Bender 8x56 (German made) scope with 25mm tube, Niggelhoh sling with qd swivels, 1 x 4 shot mag, Kleen bore 17HMR cleaning kit & approx 1/2 box of cleaning pellets.
The gun has always been thoroughly cleaned after each use & well looked after. There are some scratches & marks to the stock as pictured, please feel free to message me with any questions.
