Description

If you fancy a high quality rifle which is totally unique, then this heavy barrelled single shot target rifle is for you. Chambered in 7.5mm Swiss, it has a heavy 34” fluted barrel, and original target sights. Unlike British Martini Henry rifles this rifle has been built by a professional Zurich Gunsmith, H.Hatt and has the typical Swiss level of engineering quality. The martini action is smooth and functions like a Swiss watch, the trigger is a set type and releases at a very fine 0.17 oz.

Forend and butt are of a high quality wood with lovely patina and is unmarked. The receiver has been heat treated producing a lovely multi colour steel. Whilst this rifle is UK proofed for factory 7.5x55 Swiss ammunition, the barrel has been chambered with a long lead suited to heavier 168 - 200gr .308 bullets and therefore best accuracy can be achieved by reloading.
