Description

New Sauer 404 Synchro XT bolt action rifle in .308 calibre.

Hard wearing synthetic thumbhole pistol grip stock with a rubber coated cheek piece, the stock is fitted with a slim rubber factory heel pad and rubber coated forend tip.

Smooth 404 bolt action set alongside a blued 22" standard weight barrel which is threaded M15x1 ready for the addition of a sound moderator. We have also engraved the top of the barrel where the action meets the chamber with the words 'Greenfields Gunmakers'

As with many German rifles the Sauer 404 is based on a modular system allowing you to change the barrel to different calibre within a matter of minutes using the SUS folding allen key which is neatly situated in the end of the removable forend also incorporating the front sling swivel.

The design of the Sauer 404 bolt allows you to interchange the bolt head for different sized bolt heads within a matter of seconds, two simple steps is all it takes to remove the bolt head from the bolt body, this also has the added bonus for when traveling as the rifle can not be used with the bolt head removed.

Silky smooth 404 action with the manual push button safety catch which allows you to completely cock and de-cock the action making for one of the safest rifles on the market, the action is set alongside a cold hammer forged 22" blued standard weight barrel which has been screw cut M15x1 ready for the addition of a sound moderator.

The 404 offers a fully adjustable trigger blade allowing all sizes of hand to get comfortable with the length of pull of the grip, the crisp single stage trigger unit can also be adjusted for breaking points between 1.2-2.7lbs, adjustment is made with the same SUS folding allen key situated at the front of the rifle.

Detachable three round single stack magazine, a key feature to the magazine is the magazine release catch, this can be locked so that there is no chance of loosing the magazine when out in the field.
