Silver Pigeon 3 models are probably the most sensible priced looking and handling shotgun on the market. With well chosen woodwork and just the right amount of engraving they look really classy.
The sporting gun we have is 32" in the barrels with the long Optima chokes, and a really nice stock and forend. Having 3" Chambers it will also shoot most steel cartridges, a must in view of the planned changes ahead. The condition is excellent, 8.5 out of 10 would be a very fair rating.
As always it's difficult to tell how many cartridges any shotgun has fired, but there is no sign of wear, looseness or over use, the only casualty is some of the gold plating is wearing off the trigger, which happens on most modern guns with plated triggers in a very short space of time.
If you feel like treating yourself, it will make a lifelong useable and reliable companion.
