We are delighted to be able to offer for sale this stunning 12 Bore Beretta SL3 Game Scene engraved over and under fixed choke game gun.

Stunning oil finished hand selected one piece pistol grip stock which has been finished with a Woodward style grip, the stock is accompanied by a matching rounded game style forend with a deep cut scroll engraved release catch.

The SL3 offers a completley new action design to the gun making table, a design unique to Beretta, the SL3 action offers you the perfect action/barrel locking system, increasing the robustness and rigidity of the overall gun. The barrels are anchored at three separate points; hinge pins, lower hooks and locking pins. The opening and closing of the gun will remain smooth and effortless over time no matter how much use.

This new eligant action design has been crafted to the highest of Italian gun making standards and decorated with detailed game scenes on all three sides of the action. A brace of pheasants have been engraved on the left hand side of the action while a trio of Mallard duck taking flight decorate the right hand side of the action. A single partridge has been engraved on the underside of the action and all three game scenes are surrounded by the same deep cut scroll work.

The action is set alongside a pair of superb handling fixed choke barrels which drive the stunning performance of the Beretta Steelium barrels offering exclusive tri-alloy Beretta Steel (Ni, Cr, Mo). The Optima HP barrel profile has been specifically designed to provide excellent patterns with every type of shot: lead, steel and other lead alternatives.
The barrels have been fitted with a thin 6mm x 6mm ventilated game style top rib and solid side ribs.

The SL3 firing mechanism offers fast, crisp trigger pulls thanks to the hammer leaf springs used, deep cut floral scroll engraved top lever and rounded trigger guard with a fixed coin finished trigger blade.
