Stirling Armaments Model HR-81 .22 Under Lever Spring Air Rifle, 17 1/2" barrel retaining it's front sight with element hood and adjustable rear open field sights, ball catch housing retaining under leaver working independently to the simple no fuss spring loaded side bolt for inserting a pellet, as with every well designed and engineered rifle it has an adjustable trigger however no safety catch, long dovetail rail with 2 x retaining holes for mounting a scope of choice, plain forend and factory checkered semi-pistol grip beech stock having a raised cheek piece and ventilated pad (all of which is very comfortable) Designed by Roy Hutchinson while working for Sterling Armaments and released for sale in 1981, his initials reversed HR to prevent any confusion that may occur with being involved in the design of other rifles where his initials appear as RH, now scarce and collectable. This rifle was manufactured in 1981, a very genuine air rifle appearing to be mechanically excellent (although not guaranteed) and visually it's in 9.5/10 condition. We are very privileged to have this for resale which is part of a considerable collection built up over many years by a retired RFD a good friend, please note that upon purchase of this rifle no warranty is given or implied, part exchange up/down will be considered.
